Hello Loyal Readers, there’s been a lot of changes happening over the past few months… for all of us. It’s really given me pause to think about what the point of writing about life and style means to me and what place that has in this world. Do my sustainable outfits really matter in the long term message here? Is that making an impact? I’m growing out of the old format of posting looks and life hacks and moving more into essay style written pieces. I want to Thank You so very much for being so awesome and showing up here every week for new posts about this and that. However, it’s time to re-configure the machine and what it produces. I want to dive deeper into subjects at hand, giving more time to think about pieces before I write them. For that reason I’m scaling back on the posts to give myself enough time as a writer to really write, revise, do more research and get more inspiration than ever before.

What’s Coming in 2020?
The first thing will be a name change. Metal Mouth Style doesn’t have the same ring that it once had or same meaning. It’s time to merge the blog into my website. TiffiniTruth.com has been around for 10 years. I want to continue to use that site as the vessel to hold and host all of my work online. Once the domain expires on Metal Mouth Style my written essays posted solely on my main site.You’ll notice the merge by the end of Summer and there will be a notice here when that happens.
Loathing & Fear In Tijuana
I’ll be working on my first book over the Summer of 2020. The working title for it is “Loathing & Fear In Tijuana”. My own take on a chaotic joyride taken up and down the Baja California coastline. I’ve sat on a stockpile of images I have taken over the past 2 1/2 years living of the shithole that is Tijuana. I’ve been waiting for the right time to start writing. A time where I can reflect on the madness I have seen here while still being close enough to the experiences to share it as though it all just happened yesterday.
The book will be a series of photos accompanied by short stories based events that took place during my time in Tijuana.
Metal Art & Music
Some posts will be focused solely on my metal art work & music. I got a great reception from breaking down my latest music video “Socket Screw You“. To give a more insight into the metal art work I think this is important to break things down more often than not. It’s easy to understand an art piece when you create it. It’s very tricky to expect other people to understand your vision when they’ve never heard the story behind it.
For instance, I finished this metal art digital piece below last week. It’s titled “Wheel Barrow”. How did I make it? What does it mean to me? Why did I make it? I’ll get back to you on that in our next post.
There you have it. Updates! I always bury the lead, I forget to fully explain myself and backstory has always been a thing of the past. I’m trying to re-work the way I approach things to ensure it always has inherent value. Stick around, stay sweet and get excited for the things to come. Quality over quantity moving forward friends.
